Uniforms

Dress Code

The Clear Water Academy dress code contributes in a very important way to the overall sense of unity in our school. The dress code enhances the learning atmosphere, adds a sense of pride and reduces competition among students. Clear Water Academy students are expected to wear their uniform in a manner that portrays a positive and modest self-image, conveys personal neatness and cleanliness, and demonstrates an attitude of excellence in performance and achievement.

Used Uniform Store

The CWA Used Uniform store is a service offered to our community by our Parent Advisory Council and it is managed by parent volunteers (Mrs. Vicki Navas and Mrs. Regina Bleile). The store offers the opportunity for our parents to purchase and sell used (and of good quality) uniforms.

Typically the store is operational prior to the start of the school year. However, this year we delayed the opening of this service until we felt comfortable that we could integrate its operation with our School Re-entry Plan and our COVID-19 school protocols. We appreciate your patience in awaiting its opening.

We are very pleased to let you know that the CWA Used Uniform store is now back up and running! For you to access this service, please follow the instructions below:

If you want to purchase uniform items from the store:

  • Please email Mrs. Vicki Navas ([email protected]) requesting the items (and size) that you would like to purchase.
  • Mrs. Navas will process your request as quickly as possible with the reasonable expectation that due to volume at this time of the year, it may take up to two weeks to receive your order.
  • Once the order has been prepared you will receive a confirmation email, and the package will then be left at the front office of St. Thomas More Hall for you to pick up.
  • At this time, we are not allowing parents into the Used Uniform store to browse items.
  • Please return items that do not fit, or provide payment in the envelopes/ziplocs as promptly as possible.

If you want to sell uniform items:

  • You may bring items to the school and leave them at the front office of St. Thomas More Hall (please advise the receptionist that the items are for the used Uniform store).
  • We would request that you provide quality used items. Our goal is to provide a choice of used items that will still have some longevity in their wear. As such, only current uniform pieces are accepted (no “Grandfathered” uniforms). Everything needs to be clean and free of damage.
  • *For each item, please attach or provide an envelope or ziploc with the following information on or in it:
    - seller's name
    - seller’s contact phone number and email
    - size
    - price

*Alternatively, you may donate your uniforms by simply bringing them to the office with no envelopes or information attached. Proceeds from the sale of those items go to the Parent Advisory Committee. In turn, this supports various initiatives that benefit the students throughout the year. Thank you for your support!

Respecting that this is a volunteer run service, Mrs. Navas expects that she can dedicate time on Mondays to work at the store. However, she may have to alter this to meet her schedule.
